# Store profile, Find stores and the 5 app designs

> Set your store profile for Find stores in the SmartPOS Shopper app and choose one of five designs - Classic, Editorial, Market, Menu or Boutique - for your store.

This page shows you how your store looks in the SmartPOS Shopper app, and how to change it: the **Store profile** that shoppers see in **Find stores** and on your store page, and the **Design** tab where you pick one of five looks for your Home screen, Product list and Product page.

## Before you start

Your store must be in the Shopper app (**Settings › Shopper app & Scan & Go › Show my store in the Shopper app**). See [Shopper app for your store](https://docs.smartposhub.com/online/shopper-app-for-your-store/). You need the "Manage the Shopper app & Scan & Go" permission.

## Fill in the store profile

1. Open **Settings › Shopper app & Scan & Go** and the **Store profile** tab. The tiles show whether you are **Shown in Find Store**, whether you are open **Right now**, and your **Country**.
2. **About your store**: pick a **Category** (shoppers filter by it) and write a **Description** - up to 1000 characters; the first 200 show in Find stores. **Preview in the app** shows the card.
3. **Logo**: change it in Business settings (link on the page). **Cover photo**: a wide photo of your shop or products (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB).
4. **Address and map**: **Main location**, **Country**, **City**, **Area / neighbourhood**, **Street address**, and optionally **Latitude** / **Longitude** or **Use my current location** for "Near me".
5. Fill in phone, opening hours and links (website, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, YouTube, X).
6. Press **Save**.

## How Find stores works for shoppers

Shoppers open **Find stores**, search by name, city or area, pick a country, and filter by category, features (Scan & Go, ordering, bookings, delivery), **Open now** or **Near me**. Each card shows whether joining is open or needs approval, with **Join store** or **Shop here**. Stores appear only while they are switched on and listed.

## Choose a design

1. Open the **Design** tab.
2. Under **Quick looks**, pick a look - **Classic**, **Editorial**, **Market**, **Menu** or **Boutique**. One is marked **Suggested for your business**. It fills all three screens.
3. Optionally change each screen on its own: **Home screen**, **Product list** and **Product page**.
4. **Colour**: choose a **Highlight colour** or **Use my brand colour**.
5. **Details**: **Product boxes** (with shadow, thin border or plain), **Photo shape** (square, tall, wide) and **Products side by side on a phone** (2 or 3).
6. **What to show**: banners, categories, offers and sale items, new products, shortcut tiles, brand names, and quick add.
7. Press **Save design**. Shoppers see it the next time they open your store.

## Add banners in the Shop tab

On the **Settings** tab, the **Shop tab** section holds up to 8 banners (JPG, PNG or WebP up to 2 MB) with a title, subtitle and what it opens (a category, a product, all products or a web link), and switches for categories, **On sale** and **New arrivals**.

Product photos make the biggest difference. Add a gallery and variation photos to your products - the app shows them on the Product page, together with upsell and cross-sell products you set on the product.

## Frequently asked questions

### What do shoppers see in Find stores?

Your logo, name, category, city and area, the first 200 characters of your description, whether you are open now with today's hours, features such as Scan & Go, ordering and delivery, and whether joining is open or needs approval.

### Why is my store not in Find stores?

Two things must be on - "Show my store in the Shopper app" and "List my store in Find stores" (Settings › Shopper app & Scan & Go). Shoppers can always join with your store code even when you are not listed.

### Which design should I pick?

The page suggests one for your business. Market suits marts, grocery and pharmacies; Menu suits restaurants and cafés; Boutique suits fashion, beauty and salons; Editorial is photo-led; Classic works for every shop.

### Can I mix designs?

Yes. A Quick look fills all three screens - Home screen, Product list and Product page - but you can then choose a different look for each screen.

### Which colour does the app use?

The Highlight colour you pick on the Design tab, or "Use my brand colour" from your business logo settings.

### Where do I change my logo?

In Business settings. The Store profile page links to it.

### Do I need to set map coordinates?

Only for "Near me" search. Stand in your shop and press "Use my current location", or paste the numbers from a map.
