Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum I need before taking the first order?
A location, your menu items with prices, the POS switched on, a cash register opened, and a receipt printer or e-mail receipts. Kitchen display, tables and online ordering can follow later.
Should I delete my test orders?
Return or delete test sales before going live so they don't appear in your reports, and close the test cash register.
How do I train staff quickly?
Give each person their own login with the right role, then have them practise one dine-in order, one takeaway and one tab payment in the POS before opening.
Who do I contact if something doesn't work on opening day?
Check Troubleshooting first, then contact support through smartposhub.com/contact.
